ok here's the story, i'm running(well had the setup for about 2-3 years now) an HKS VPC coupled with an Apexi AFC...setup has ran fine for some time, dyno tuned, best idling SR swap i had. Recently it sucks, car bogs out often, give it thorrtle, motor doesn't wanna rev, but shuts off, this happens when it feels like it. So i think vaccum, swapped to all new lines, claps, T-fittings, seems fine, but no.

Could it be the MAP sensor, or the setting on the VPC unit.

Here's some interesting thing, i start to mess with the AFC settings, trying different pressure in and out, no work....So just for the hell of it, i change the sensor type setting to hotwire(which should not work, cuz i no longer run a mafs) and when i use to messing around with that setting back when i started using the VPC the car would bog like it does now, but when i tried it today, the damn car is running fine, no problems that i know of just yet, so what gives, i havent touch any settings since i had it tuned, and this was about 2 years ago or more...All of a sudden it wants to fuck with me....

Right now i'm driving with the setting on Hotwire, would there be any problems in the long run, or just suck it up and return to a MAFS, and deal with the car's constant stalling???

help me

I have a friend that was running one in his all trac, he eventually got rid of it because of the same issues.
