You can measure it out and get a good estimate. Measure the back spacing and let us know.

rofl at the 10 offset guess. id say youd be lucky to hit 35. get a measuring tape. ugh

I have yet to see a rim that doesn't have the complete size stamped inside.

Hey, ever heard of a project car
r32 front end is going on this weekend. and paint will go on in a few months.
rofl at the 10 offset guess. id say youd be lucky to hit 35. get a measuring tape. ugh
the skyline wheels were a 30 somethign offset, and were damn near 20mm inside the wheel well. id imagine it was 10 something or so
your in japan and this is what you buy...lame
Yes im in japan and this is what i buy....cant you see by my paint im not worried about bling, or looking "pimp" or trying to impress you. This isnt a "Do you like my wheels" thread. This is a what offset are they so i can make sure the equips and farmas wheels i get this winter are aroudn hte same offset so they fit like this....adn come on , 75 bucks? lol with tires? im satisfied. it was the sizes i wanted and happened to fit perfect, and they clear the skyline gtr brakes in the front.
Why not take the wheel of and see what's stamped on it?
16x8j is stamped, the offest is on a sticker that is rubbed off id imagine.
how do you measure offset with a tape measure? Let me know how and ill do it! Always down to learn
now if there are any other smart ass comments, fell free to maybe post a helpful solution along with them!

If you live in Yokota then just take the rims to Up Garage and they'll tell you the offset and show you how to do it yourself.

Edit 2: I thought the Stock R32 Skyline GTS-T wheel's +40 offset and is 6.5 wide? Your free wheels look like they have a crappy offset. Just wider.

i got it!!!
The wheels are 24 MM wide
the distance from the mounting surface to the inside edge is 13mm
making the offset 24-13 a +11 offset. give or take a MM due to me not having the tire off.
THanks for motivating me to do it guys!
adn the skyline wheels are a +40 offset i was wrong

This isnt a "Do you like my wheels" thread.
Thats bullshit...you posted a "Do you like my wheels" thread in off topic and they locked it so you came to chat to post them up here under the offset excuse..Why would you post a before and after pic.
Rear bumber with no sides or front is the ultimate fail btw.

your units are a little off. 24mm is less than an inch. unless they are mountain bike wheels, they are probably 24cm which is 240mm. the second measurement is 130mm. but it's the difference between the second measurement and HALF the width, which is 120mm making the offset +10mm.
so you were pretty close, but completely by accident.
you can measure with the tire too, assuming it's symmetrical and you actually calculate it right. just lay it flat on the floor and use a straight edge across the top to measure.

Wow, you screwed that up. Based on what you said, your wheels are less than an inch wide.

the other one was locked due to the fact it was in the wrong forum, with 3 posts in it. I unlocked it, adn hten deleted it to not waste bandwith with it not being there
adn the before and after was to show the UBER flushness
adn i have BOMEX OEM style skirts upstairs...dumbass
so with the new calculations and according to this site
http://www.rsracing.com/tech-wheel.html
23.5 cm converted to MM is 235mm / by 25.4 = 9.5 inches (like i said not exact cause the tire was one) in half is 12cm or 120mm /25.4=4.7 inches
13 cm from the hub mounting face to the edge is 130mm / 25.4=5.1 inches...i siad 5.25 to be safe accordign to the chart
usign the chart ont he page i came with about a +12 offset. which would seem about right looking at it..

Have you seen your car? No rear bumper+side skirts=fail. Your whole car=fail. He's said many times his car is a work in progress. Give the guy a break. You've gotta start somewhere.

That doesnt make any sense. Mark dead center of the wheel, that is 0 offset. Get a straight edge and place it against the mounting surface or the wheel and mark it near the middle mark. The distance between the first and second mark is your offset. If the second mark is on the outside edge of the middle mark, your offset is +(positive). If its on the inside edge of the middle mark your offset is -(negative). BLAH BLAH.
BTW, that is far from 8 +/- 0. Look at sportmax 002, theyre 8 +/-0 offset and at that height is about sticking out and flush when low. 16x8 +20 rota grids are more flush then that. I say its about +30 or so.
Also, if your skyline wheels are 20mm more sunk then the skylines and theyre 6.5 +40, that equals a 8 +39.

Skyline R32 rims come either 16x8 +30 or 16x6.5 +40. You have the 6.5 cause its not as flush. I figured maybe that helped.

fookin aye...too much bitching!!! 8 inches multiply it by 25.4 and thats your rims width in mm. So thats 203.2mm total. Divide that by 2 and you get half the width and thats your 0 offset. Measure the inside hub face of the rim to to the edge of the rim and subtract that number from 101mm (half of 203.2) and you got your damn offset.

except the wheel isn't 8" wide overall, probably closer to 9". that's why you have to measure the overall width and find half. that's why you can still do it with the tires on just as easily.
it has been explained enough. let's get back to telling that guy his car sucks and he isn't as cool as the rest of us.
