As I can see there can be much guess work done to find out the correct ride height, I have an eiback pro-kit on and am capable of driving around without scraping the bumpers on anything so I would like a 1.5 maybe 1.75" drop in the front and 1.5" in the rear or so. Before I get these coilovers in hand I was hoping maybe someone knows the definate way of calculating the lowering/hightening technique with measuring the strut mounts to the lower bracket... or maybe whatever, i don't know but am eager to learn and find out. Thank you very much

if you want them the same height as your eibach's.. measure from the strut mount at the upright to the top of the assembly

make sure there the same on your coilovers.

Its a guess and check game but you can measure and try to keep them the same.

Your best option is a corner weighting if you can afford it.

install coilovers

use ruler to make sure they're all even

check fender clearance, wiring clearance, and bumper clearance

lower as however much u want

aint rocket science

Huh??? You bought coilovers? I usually just guess and check.

i park the car on level ground, then slide something under the frame rails of each side, like stacks of wood to see if they are even. I think thats a better way to determine over making the coilover springs/perchs even. It can take a few times to get it right tho, esp have to consider the "seating" of the spring and compression

cant set height by measuring the shocks because cars are not symmetrically weight balanced. you need to park on a level surface, adjust them, measure from the ground to a fixed point on the car (ie dont measure off your fenders cause if you rolled them or whatever they could be uneven) frame rail is good if yours arent squished, subframe if its not bent, stuff like that. also every time you adjust it its gonna change a little bit over the next couple days so re check it.

In order to get the MOST out of your suspension get it corner balanced. And make sure all the load cells are at the same height. Make sure to sit in the car or put a ballast in the drivers seat when taking measurements.....then set height accordingly.
