My 95 240 was totaled. So I need another 240. How light is the s13 compared to the s14. which one do you think i should get?

Depends on what you want to do to it. If you want a ride to do major mods to get the s13 because its cheap and all the money you save buying the car you can put into modding it. If you want great handling get the s13. If you want speed get the s13

Oh wait I forgot to mention the s14....that's weird. J/K
But seriously
I love the look of the s14a and the s13 the best and I have had good success getting a lot of power out of my s13. The s14 kicks ass also but i don't have that much experience driving one so I cant't comment on it too much other than the fact that I like the look of the s14a

I've driven an S14 and own an S13. I personally like the fastback a lot better. Like nrcooled said, it depends a lot on what you have planned for the car. I feel the S14 is more of a nice cruise around town pick up the ho's (no offense to anyone ) And I feel the S13 is a lot more rigid, you can still pick up the ho's but with more style Other noticable differences, S13 is about 97 lbs lighter than the S14 iirc, and I believe the S14 has a little more body roll, or thats just what I have experienced. Good luck man.

I wish I did! I have only seen the locks for the z32 hicas system. I have never seen it for the s13. If I could get rid of it I would in a heartbeat. It's not that bad but is still unpredictable after owning the car for about 3yrs

I wish you people could drive my car (95 S14) you want to feel rigid mine is rigid. It is no more expensive to modifiy than the S13 well over here anyway. You would have to see the port slide. To see rigid and feel rigid that is the place to do it. You pull into the shoot take of hit about 60 and bust into a full drift not turning your wheels until you hit the 180 degree point then shoot out going about 70. That is You would have to see it to see what I am talking about. I will shoot some footage. You should just drive both for your own decesion. I have full suspension so that is why I have a very rigid ride. I have no body roll at all. Test drive an s13 and just try to remember how your 14 was I have driven and I own both.

i would say get the S13 since you already had an S14, plus if you totaled the car most likely you are trying to spend less money on your next car not the same. So if I were you I would get the S13. On terms of lightness IIRC someone told me that the S13 Coupe is lighter than the f/b.

Unless you have the money to buy another S14 then buy the S13, but avoid black fastbacks (becuz I am still looking for a car)

I own a S13, and a S14b. Both are great cars! Both handle great! Both look good! Go with what you like. My opinion, after driving both for well over 70k miles each, would be a S14b (I like the headlights and sideskirts)

SilEightys are extremely popular in Japan. Also 180sxs with a s15 fronts.... i've only seen one conversion where a s15 got a 180sx front, but tons of s15 SilEightys. As far as non modified 240sxs avaiable in the states, i would have to say s14b, although one day i'd love to have a s15 sileighty but with s15 fronts going for 2k+ then you've got some body work, because i don't think they bolt up.. do they?

On the "body-roll" issue. The non SE's (s14) had no rear sway bar and thats the body roll you felt, i'm 98% sure. My 96 corners just as well as my friends 92 save a fstb.

Gotta represent: s14 is a much stiffer chassis than the s13. After you upgrade the springs and shocks, the s14 is a better handling car that the s13 thanks to chassis rigidity.

s14 comes with a nice interior befitting a nice car... not a hand-me down from the Stanza.

s14 never came brown on brown (ugh )

s14 comes with nice basic options - s13's are a mixed bag.

s14 can't be more than 7 years old... s13 can't be newer than 9! Old cars suck.

No rusty spoiler here.

Pop-up headlights owned the 1980s.
