I still think our cars our pretty light. I dunno with the right amount of work you could probably get them down to 2400-2500 if it was a track car... I was thinking about doing this seeing as I hate giving people rides anyways, may as well gut the car. I would just be worried about upsetting the weight distribution so I would want a scale handy to improve/maintain what it already is.

Contrary to popular belief, my S12 was lighter than an S13. I'm not sure why people think they're heavy. It was the same size as the S13, with less safety equipment, lighter CA motor... hmmm. High 2500's altogether. This was my '86 base model. Someday I'd like to own another one.

Really there are hundreds of cars that weigh less than the 2650-2800lb of an S13, and hundreds that weigh more.

The US version had like 135hp, but the potential is obvious. There was also a FWD sedan with the same engine, called just 323 GT. Cool cars.
