View Full Version : Major hesitation above 3500 rpm

Ok. Here's the deal. I just put my header on my '93 coupe along with a random tech high-flow cat, and also removed my EGR all at the same time. Last night when I was driving my car, I got on it a little and my car died. So I pulled into a gas station and started it back. Ok. running just fine at idle and up to 3000rpm. But, if i go above that, it hesitates like its not getting enough air or getting rid of the air fast enough. I installed the cat converter to their directions (writing on stickers readable when feet are facing rear bumper). Anyone else had this problem? I've double checked all fittings, connections, and gaskets. It also sounds like i have an exhaust leak coming from where the header meets the downpipe, but i can't find any air coming out.
Anyone?
