Help EGR and VSS code

Hey guys I just replaced my EGR system and my speedometer doesn't work (not related). I am currently throwing EGR and VSS codes. I'm sure if i just replace the vss sensor that should fix the speedometer problem and code but i'm not sure how to fix the EGR code. Any ideas?

What does the code say? Also if there wasn't an egr code and there now is, then the installation must be bad. Secondly you could look in the FSM for the code and it DOES tell you how to troubleshoot the problem.

haha, those are 2 of my 4 codes.

FOr the EGR, I have and "EGR flow malfunction". I'm too lazy to figure it out.

And for the VSS, it's not connected, haha.

Was the EGR code on before you replaced it? You need to clear the code if that is so. There are a lot of threads on how to clear codes and how to test the EGR, I need to do this also. I have the same two codes as you (but my speedo works fine) and a leaking injector code. Little OT but does anyone know how a the code for leaky injector comes up, as in how does the car sense it?
