From What I Was Told It Will Not Be Behind The Core Support. Check Out Amanda's Car In Import Tuner She's Running There Setup But Her's Is A Custom Job

i would worry that you get too much of the heat dicipation from the radiator, my roomate is doing a very wild Vmount on his car, i will post pics of it when hes done, its going to have some assanine (not huge, but assanine none the less) sticking out of the hood..... anyways, i'd like someone to post up pics of the setup, i want to see it, a local guy did it around here by himself and he referred to it as the poor mans Vmount, i see that the idea would yield all the perks of throttle response, as well as the ease of installation...YET, i think it would yield higher temps on average...

Actually the Mid-mount is VERY effective. Intake air temps were actually below ambient measured right before the throttle body.
Mostly due to the high CFM's of the FAL fans. I built that motor, and Megan is working on having that setup sold as a bolt on affair.

It Megan racing, if anything this would be an intercooler from the same plant as OBX intercooler which has the HKS style or the Greddy style intercooler.
