Misfire System

What exactly is a misfire system? Bee Racing has a new Rev/Speed meter with Mis-Firing action what ever that is. Just wanted to know what it is what it does and why.

A misfiring system is a way to keep the turbo spooled while off the throttle. Basically it retards timing so that the combustion takes place partly in the exhaust manifold creating a big boost of exhaust that keeps the turbo spooled. It's not a very streetable system because of overheating problems, and it certainly won't help reliability.
