brand new pads and rotors fronts, grinding sometimes, sometimes doesnt, but usually does, and i guess the rotors are warped but it seems to have an even wear pattern, since ive been drivin on them for about 4 months like this but its embarassing when icome to a stop and it grinds like a mofuker. thanks.

do you have high performance pads?

Make sure you fully bleed the brakes, and do apply brakequite to the shims. And just check your padlife as well. I guess some just deteriorate faster than others.

that will also happen if you didn't push in the brake pistons enough during install.

could be somethign lodged in between the pad and the rotor. take everything apart, clean everything, put it back together and see how it works

Tear everything apart, and redo it. 30minutes, done.

Are you confusing this 'grinding' sound as a squeal? New brakes will make a slight rubbing sound as the pad seats in for the first 1000 miles, especially if the new rotors have a rough finish. The only way to tell if your rotors are warped (which wouldnt cause any noises) is to get a few 35+mph stops, applying constant pressure, and paying attention to the brake pedal. If it vibrates up and down, almost like the way ABS feels, then they are warped. Getting back to your grinding problem... From what it sounds like, is that they are just squeeling. What I recommend doing is taking the pads out, putting a slanted bevel along the edges, and greasing up the BACK of the pads...so that they stick to the caliper. Plus get some brake clean and spray your rotors down. All this combined should eliminate the squeling. Oh yeah, if you use tire shine, please spray it on a rag, and apply it that way, because it can put a shitty glaze on the rotors which causes squeels....and dont listen to the person who mentioned bleeding brakes is incorrect... if you did pads and rotors, you should never have to crack a line open. Hope this helps! if you have any more questions let me know.

deffinitely not squealing, its a disting grind almost the same as worn pads, since I know what that sounds like, haa thats why i had to get new rotors also. i think im gonna try to get new rotors and tell em they are warped just to make sure. i donno. its deff been more than 1000 miles.

look on the rotors to see if there is any scoring, like perhaps an indicator got bent down, and is hitting the rotor, causing a scratch. I highly recommend re-prepping the pads, and looking at both sides of the rotors.
