I just bought a '93 base model coupe and it has a noise of some sort when you are accelerating in the lower gears or even when you just rev the engine. It sounds to me like it's possibly coming from the left front wheel area but not real sure. Sounds like a loud buzzing noise, like a heat shield or brake backing plate or something vibrating. Anyone got any ideas what it might be or what to look for when I have time to jack it up and crawl under it to look??
Thanks
David

I had a very similar problem when I had some of my exhaust piping replaced. When it was re-attached, the muffler was shifted toward the rear bumper a fraction of an inch, but that fraction of an inch was just enough for the perch to vibrate against the interior side of the bumper (the metal part) when the car had warmed up (metal expanded just enough to move back and barely touch the bumper sheet). I hacked off half an inch of the perch with a sawsall and no more vibration
Chances are, this isn't your problem, but it's worth checking out, it's a zero-cost-to-fix problem
