Well just installed my ps lines and my power steering pump today. But i've never driven another SR'd 240 w/ power steering. So I don't know how it's supposed to feel. Is the steering wheel supposed to be easy to turn at all times or just when the car is moving(like power assist)?

It is power assist!
Yes easy all the time, Unless you have one of those clutch type PS pumps!!!

Clutch type pump? i thought all sr20det powersteering pumps were the same besides the hicas ones. well i figured out a couple of problems i was having. i was a dumbass and forgot to read the fsm 1st and put ps fluid instead of atf. plus i had a leak for the suction pipe on the pump. i fixed the leak and i flushed out the ps fluid w/ atf. i also tried to bleed any excess air that was trapped in the lines.
so now that i have everything running. the wheel is easy to turn as long as i'm going 25mph or over 3000 rpm. when i'm sitting still it still feels like zero ps steering and when i'm going slower like say in a parking lot, i still have to put some muscle into it when turning. i thought it was supposed be really easy to turn no matter what (standing still, slow driving, etc.) i'm stumped and it's not making wierd noises anymore like w/ the ps fluid. what else should i do? should i flush out the atf cuz maybe there's still more ps fluid in the lines?
