They broke the rear window and then opened the doors from there. They took out the head unit, which I actually didn't take the face plate off of for once and now I feel stupid. They cut the battery wire, so it's not even driveable. They also stole my sub and amp. The center console is wrecked, and I haven't even been able to get a hold of my insurance company yet.
Yup...my day has started out great.

The battery wire is easy, clamp it for now and replace the wire, not a tough job... at least it will get you rolling. As for the stereo... yah, people are gay, you would think with the price of shit nowadays people would rather a new one out of the box or to get screwed on ebay... but they are still breaking in and stealing crap. That is why I don't want to change mine... look at the bright side, you still have your car, at least they didn't go for a joyride with it... one of my brothers friends had is itr stolen... they unplugged all the senors and ripped of his intake and ran it straight, the ecu couldn't pic up the right info so the rev limiter never kicked in... they drove it till it died...

Yes, it was in my driveway...really sux. Anyways, I haven't really looked at the wire too much, but it's the one running to the alternator that they cut, not the positive or negative ones, I don't know what it would require. I'm just going to have a towed after my insurance company comes to survey the damage (my sis has AAA so it'll be free).
I just wish that they would have done something to my car, like wreck the paint, so I could get a new paint job. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'> But that didn't happen, so I hope that they go to jail and get ass raped.

Ass raping is a serious issue in prison. You'll surely get your revenge. And you can also visit the jail they go to, then slip the biggest mother fucker you can find there a 20 to butt fuck them like non other <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

Sorry to hear that. I had a bunch of stuff stolen out of my garage once. I was driving a convertible at the time, and top was down. Fortunately, they were too stupid to get my head unit out. So they grabbed my sisters electric scooter and my stepdads cell-phone. (they made a few calls on it too....so we found out who it was)
Left no prints for cops....but because of the phone we got a lil vigilanti justice <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>
BTW, did you have the cops print the car? If they did that much damage to the center console, they may have left somethin behind.

Yeah, the cop actually took the initiative to dust for prints himself, which is actually pretty surprising, but I think he felt bad for me. He found a print on the hood of the car that might be something (because they popped the hood and cut the battery wires, and amp wire).
At least this hasn't changed the fact that I'm going to get my motorcycle, in fact, this is kind of an excuse to get it sooner because I don't know when I'm going to get my car back. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':('>

Sorry to hear that bud, i hope everything with the insurance works out for you.
PS: do you have an s13 or s14? I have a friend here with an s13 parts car so i could get you that center console dirt cheap if you need it.

It's an S14, but thanks for the offer man. Actually, it's not going to be too bad because the comprehensive coverage I have only has a $100 deductable, so it's not the money that I'm pissed at (although if I don't get reimbursed for the stereo, I will be), it's the very fact that someone did it to my car.
The fuckers even cut the hood cable, so you can't pop the hood w/o getting underneath the car (the only reason I knew all of the wires underneath were cut is because they left the doors and the hood cracked open...odd, but I guess maybe they didn't want to make the noise of shutting them?).
Again though, thanks a lot for the offer.
