As it says, what is the weight on those 2 engines? I assume the RB26 is heavier, but that it is more reliable and easier to build. Correct me if I'm wrong.

vq = 314lbs approx. and you have to build the hell out of it for it to hold good reliable boost... 10.3:1 compression ratio isn't the best for boost :)

Yeah I know a guy with a super charged G35 that was putting out around 400whp, and he lost a race. Soo he sold all of his parts and is going to buy a rebuilt VQ and is going to Twin turbo it with a new tranny and 650 injectors, 4 inch exhaust ect... but i think it would be better for him to swap an RB26 since he is pulling out the motor anyways. I think it would be better and more stable to build... but he is also concerned about weight.. how much does the RB26 weigh?

i think i saw somewhere 650lbs+ with tranny...in all seriousness, there would be a ton of fab work needed to be done to fit an RB26 into a Z. it's been done as has been an SR20 into a Z. the weight of the RB would totally throw off the balance of the Z which is already front heavy imo.
most Zers just build up their motors...it's not cheap but to put out 400+hp reliably he should suck it up and spend the 12-14k for a fully built tt monster vq setup and be putting out 600whp on a daily driver.
