Well last friday, saturday morning at 3am I was on my way home on the freeway when all of a sudden I hear a loud as giant clunks hitting the bottom side of my cabin and i start slowing down. I look in the rearview mirror only to see bright flashes of sparks. It was what i thought it would be, the driveshaft snapped out pf its place from the u-joint. I pull over to the shoulder and look under the car only to see this.

I am so lucky it didnt drop from the tranny or else my 240 would so be no more and I would not be typing this because I would prolly be at the hospital or the morgue.

The following day, I took it to a shop to get it fixed but I am missing that flange type deal that bolts the driveshaft to the diff. yup, it's somewhere on the freeway and I couldnt find it after hours of searching in the dead heat of fresno. So now I'm buying an aluminum DS from driveshaftshop and hopefully that comes with the flange if not the shop can fab me one and since it's gonna take awhile for the ds to come I decided to leave my car at the shop so I can pick it up in Jan. 07 (I'm in the military thats why it's staying til Jan) Since it's staying there I decided to put forth the project I have been thinking about for the longest time. Entire valvetrain work done. which consists of Crower; springs, titanium retainers, and valves supporting Tomei Poncam 256/256. HKS 2.0mm metal hg. Rocker armstoppers either greddy or phase2. ARP Headstud upgrade. Maybe a port and polish if. and Maybe the HKS EVC V2 boost controller. (I might not get the boost controller since I don't really need to turn up boost due to stock injectors and stock maf maxing at 10-11 psi.) I'll prolly wait till to get the boost controller when I get an EMS.

I wonder what whp numbers I'll be getting with those upgrades at 7psi what about at 10psi?
