It's a shot of Bumble Bee obviously in his robot form. The site that originally posted this shot was asked by the studio to take it down. They've been pretty secretive about showing the robots so this is a pretty cool find. He's pretty detailed as far as the parts and that go, but it doesn't look much like a original transformer.

Oh and for those who don't know Bumble Bee will be a Camaro Concept in the movie and not a beetle.

I saw a spy shot of a Mustang, Tank, and something else I don't remeber. But the Mustang was susposedly a police car, and it's a Decepticon.

I just talked to my friend about those two "leaked" footage. He said "thats a fan boy with too much time on his hands". There are only SIX people assigned to work on the movie thus far, and no actual scenes have been made. But what was shown, is not currently priority.

It's actually kinda disappointing that bumblebee isnt a beetle, and if I remember correctly the police car was originally a datsun 280z in the old tv series so that's also kinda disappointing heh.
They dont really have to be too secretive on the robot forms because supposedly bumblebee is the only one that was actually built, just for a specific scene, and the rest will be purely CG.

I heard/read that Bumblebee wasn't included because Volkswagen didn't want to have it's image to be associated with 'machines of war'. Odd since, if I'm not mistaken, Hitler was the one that originally commissioned the beetle.

The Transformer teaser, from what I hear, will be included with Pirates of the Caribbean 2. Saw Superman Returns (oh shit!!!) last night and it wasn't in it. -how dope was the Spidey teaser btw!?

Dang.. THis stuff is bringing back sooooo many memories.. I used to have so many of those things (That and Ninja turtles)... I broke them all though, I used to have crazy wars with them.. Ha ha THe good ol' days .

Same here. Though I used to treat mine the precious jewels. I was mildly obssessed with them. My favorite one was Hot Rod. The way he transformed the window part and wing would swivel so the wing stuck out over his head and looked all bad ass. Well one time I was with one of my best friends when i was a kid and we we're outside. I had Hot Rod with me cause he rawked. Well I had to run inside to get something and put him down on this wood fense and told my friend to watch it but not to touch it. Well I come back and Hot Rod is in 2 peices on the ground. My friend said he tried transforming it and he broke it! I halled off and punched the dude in the stomach knocking the wind out of him and then pushed him over while he was crouched over. Don't break my toys bitch!

2 days later his mom brought him in and signed him up for martial arts...He's now like a 348573459837535 degree blackbelt and instructor with a room full of trophies and what not. This was back in like 89 or so. Haha, funny memories.

I don't know how much truth there is to this:
The first footage was done by some kinda of genius entrepeneur dude. He is developing some type of software that creates lifelike sets that can be easily interacted with and manipulated. I hear the technology is being explored to be used in the Transformer movie. The footage on the first clip was done as a test for Michael Bay.
Again, I personally don't know details but someone I know said he met the guy and talked about this. He'd thought I'd get a kick out of it. He was right.

The best guy was the boom box guy that had like three hinchmen in his cassette holder. He also had the coolest voice Heh.. I hated star scream because it seemed like he whined a lot.

Rumble = Small robot guy with no arms but intstead battering rams

Ravage = Wolf like robot

Silver Beak (I think that's it's name) = Hawk good for spying out enemy territory.

If they had any brains at all they would make an animated sequel just like the original movie as that remains the best animated movie evar, period. It would appear that they are going to blend generation 1 and generation 2 together as the tank could be Megatron from Gen 2 although the OG megatron(see avatar) is the shiznangle. Damn, I cant wait to find out the story line, it better be good.

I wanted to be Daniel really bad. That kid had it made! No school. Got to hang around with giant transforming robots that took him to space and gave him a suit so he could transform. Now that sounds like the life to me.:2f2f:

The Planet of Junk is inhabited by Junkions, a race of Transformers allied with the Autobots although their eyes are red which is usually associated with the Decepticon's color scheme. Their only exhibited alternate mode is a motorcycle; when they attack they attack en masse, organised into teams with one in motorcycle mode and the other riding in robot mode to provide firepower. Junkions are superb technicians, capable of assembling all manner of functional machinery from junk. They also seem to have a telepathic affinity with mechanical garbage, allowing them to manipulate it and move it telekinetically.

Besides AutoBot City there was Fortess Maximus and the dopest transformer name ever...Omega Supreme! In that second picture he's the one on the left that all you can se is his legs and their kind of a gold color and you can see hi left hand pointy thing coming down.

word. Michael Bay is one of the last guys I would have picked for the role.. but then again, you have to do a lot of shitty movies ( armageddon, the rock, bad boys 1&2 ect) before you get chances to do big projects. Maybe he's proved to someone he can be good, kinda like sam raimi or peter jacksons early films... while they are awesome, you have to think why would anyone give these guys some of the biggest green lights in film history to go spend so much money .

Just the fact that they built the robots instead of CGI shows me that its gonna be awesome. Cannot wait

I believe someone stated on the first page that the Bumble Bee robot was the only one built and it was for a certain scene. The rest should all be CG.

And...i like bad Boys 1 and Armageddon. :-/

+1...when they killed off Optimus I actually stopped watching Transformers...and I'm sorry but the movie wasn't that good. I downloaded the movie from a p2p awhile ago plus some other episodes(I got the one w/the return of Prime) and the GI Joe movie and I have to say the Joe movie was better than the Transformer movie. The Junkions(someone said they didn't remember them) were the most annoying part of the movie...however the best part of the movie was seeing this....

Really? Man it's truely one of my all time favorite movies. Probably because I grew up with Transformers. When the movie came out it was amazing. By todays standards I guess it's (dialoge and music wise) pretty cheesey. I think more of the old school people apprecaite the movie more.

Don't misunderstand what I'm saying...I'm a hardcore fan of Transformers. I used to own about 20 different toys ( I grew up in the 80's). I had everything from Prime to the insecticons, I just didn't like the movie too much. I believe I was in 4th grade when it came out and I was so sad when I heard that Optimus Prime had been killed. When I downloaded the movie I felt like a kid again, I didn't care about the quality/music just the fact that the Transformers were back.

I had everything from Prime to the insecticons, I just didn't like the movie too much. I believe I was in 4th grade when it came out and I was so sad when I heard that Optimus Prime had been killed. When I downloaded the movie I felt like a kid again, I didn't care about the quality/music just the fact that the Transformers were back.

Gotchya. I had an original copy of the movie my whole life and when i was younger i would watch it probably 2-3 times a week, FAITHFULLY. Then they re-released it on VHS about 6 years ago and I bought that. Then they released it on DVD along with all the seasons, and I bought all those.

Man I miss my childhood:cry:

Unfortunatly the 100+ toys I had when i was a kid were dontated by myself to kids that were less fortunate. In the next few years I plan to rebuild my collection from scratch.

Unfortunatly the 100+ toys I had when i was a kid were dontated by myself to kids that were less fortunate. In the next few years I plan to rebuild my collection from scratch.
I know what you mean. Has anyone tried the latest Trans. toys? I bought the current Optimus Prime for my son a few Christmas' ago and not only was it 50 bucks but I couldn't figure it out. As far as rebuilding a collection goes, I have to wait until I move to georgia in a year and a half so that I can have a big enough house to do it in.

exitspeed - I can relate. I haven't being diagnozed for OCD yet but I wouldn't be surprised if I were.
And a little off topic but, how awsome would a well made Macross or Gundam movie be? Don't know if it's been done in Japan already but I would to see film versions of Macross Plus and Gundam's War in the Pocket and Stardust Memory.
Back on topic, I can't help but get a bad vibe out of this film. Hope I'm wrong though.

I had a dream about 1 year ago that I stumbled on a warehouse somewere that was filled with Transformers that were never sold, like all the extra's from the stores. It was awsome. I walked around and looked at all of'em and the person that showed me this place said each one was $5. I remember thinking about how much money I had in my checking account and how many I could buy. I even remember thinking how pissed my wife is gonna be when I get home!

July 22, 2006 - During Paramount's presentation on Friday at Comic-Con International in San Diego, the studio made an official announcement regarding their live-action feature film version of Transformers.

While the announcement, which was preceded by a taped greeting from director Michael Bay, wasn't as momentous as the much expected first look at the giant robots in action, it was almost as eagerely anticipated by the fans.

A vocal "greeting" by Optimus Prime himself announced that voice actor Peter Cullen, who played the character in the popular 1980s cartoon TV series, will voice Optimus Prime in next summer's big budget movie version.

The announcement was met with rousing applause from Comic-Con attendees. The fans have long desired that Cullen reprise the role he'd made famous on TV

Honestly, I love it simply because it has human interaction, very clean transformation not all Super CG Rubix Cube, and it even throws in a bit of charicter as the robot is a bit disorented from transforming and steps back.

August 21, 2006 - In a blog update at his official site, MichaelBay.com, Transformers director Michael Bay revealed what's currently happening and what's ahead for the shoot, and he also clarified a few rumors making the rounds online.

Bay confirmed that leaked photos of the robots that appeared last week at TFW2005.com are legit but that they are "a somewhat early rendering." Bay's blog added, "The CGI transformations by ILM are looking wicked and nastier every single day." The transformations will take 3-4 seconds each.

Bay's blog also explained where the big-screen version fits in with the cartoons and comics. "This movie will be a new start for the live action franchise that will not be based on any particular (Transformers) TV series and/or comic book."

The production "just finished shooting a lot of Pentagon interiors on a soundstage in scenes that involved many Chiefs of staff in their huge war room."

The filmmakers will begin filming "massive chase scenes" in the next few weeks.

Doing some research i found out that these ARE INDEED prototype's of the transformers. I found some more too after registering on tfw2005.com. I'm not sure if I like'em all that much. They seem so far from the OG ones. Their too detailed or something. Too busy. But I guess they look cool in their own right.

Incinerator is looking pretty pimp. Would've been better to use a CH-53 over the MH-53 though. I'm mainly interested in the movie just to see the transformations. I don't really care about the story or anything. I just want to see the visual effects.

Yea and the 3-4 second transformations should be pretyy detailed. i bet if you look you'll be able to see were almost all the parts go specifically.

Well originally the Autobots and Decepticons crash landed on earth after a battle on Cybertron. They were shaped like behicles and jets on their planet. When they crashed and knocked-out theur ship sent out a drone to capture pictures of Earth vehicles. I came back to the ship and the ships robotics rebuilt them to how we recognize then now...

They DO look cool, BUT they don't looke like Transformers. There just to far from any of the OG design's.

Kids now-a-days are a bunch of pansey's anyway and didn't grow up with Transformers. F'em.;)

you can't really expect everything to look like it did in the 80s, times have changed. The real world today is a million times more complicated than it was 20 years ago. If everything looked like the OG1 tranformers it would lack a lot of coolness that we are capable of creating now.

No your right on that and I agree. However i think there is a happy median somewhere between these concept's and our OG G1 Transformers.

And guys don't think I'm alone of complaining about these designs. tfw2005.com has numerous topics about the new movie. People happy with the disigns are few and far between.

Don't get me wrong. I'm still gonna see this movie day one, with out a doubt...

I would say they are the closest, yes. Magatron the is an abomination. They (refering to Michael Bay and the rest of the people involved) release info on Jazz making him sound more like a G1 Transformer. The people on the TF forums are basically calling is damage control becuase so many people are pissed off about Megatron.

According to the script, Megatron is somewhat of a vampire. He actually sucks the "souls" or "sparks" from his victim's bodies. Also, in the movie, he is Optimus Prime's brother.

So exactly how big are these robots? Michael Bay gave us the rundown on some of the robots:

Jazz : 13 feet tall
Bumblebee: 17 feet tall
Ratchet: 24 feet tall
Iron Hide: 26 feet tall

Megatron: 34 feet tall

The new Camero's look dang good.. Those and the chargers (SRT's) looks the best so far for the Retro style vehicles that all the American companies are making. Yeah the eye's don't "scare" me but those definitely don't belong on a bot.. Just doesn't look right..

I was heading in to work today and happened to notice where their building the new 210 freeway here in Rialto CA. the new Optimus Prime in a lineup of cars on the eastbound side of the freeway, looks like there setting up a filming shoot, they also have just to the north a flatbed truck with something massive under a tarp if you want to know where its located at its the 210 freeway in Fontana in southern California, the Alder AVE off ramp http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&z=13&ll=34.133689,-117.415352&spn=0.063514,0.1157&om=1

The only thing that's cool about Megatron is that he's a REAL milatary jet that has NEVER been released to the public. CNN doesn't even have pictures of this top secret jet. Somehow Michael Bay got the Government to enveil it VIA this movie. That's pretty rad if you ask me.

Nice! Feels like we've been waiting forever....now to criticize =P Doesn't look like a soltice on his chest..And his hands too sharp, decepticon looking...and his visor looks metroidish? Can't wait to see the real deal though.

Over all I think he looks more G1'ish then the otehr designs. And he did have the visor in his G! design so that's cool then stuck with that.

Today is the last day of main unit shooting. In two hours we'll break for lunch. Then blow up more shit in downtown LA.

Next week a reduced unit with very few actors will head to different cities and pick up some establishing shots. Then some of the team will head to the Frozen North.

The film is basically done today boys and girls. And by done I mean filming. If ever there was a film that was really going to be made in post production, this is it. Much editing and many effects to go.

How do I feel? There is a promo reel that has been put together for exhibitors and retailers that is mind boggling. There is a trailer being put together for later this year that should blow your mind.

I'm feeling pretty good that we've made a film that you will like. Only time will tell.

Not bad.. Not bad at all... Like said before, it looks more G1 then the other characters (Other then prime).. The sharp edges make it look more like a decepticon then the squarer designe the that went with the autobot's though.. Still in G1 all the characters were more square.. Looks like time is running out for any of us to see live filming in the L.A. area before then confine the rest of the footage to in-house computer footage..
