No manual transmission = FAIL! Why do they keep designing these fast cars for invalids?

I would rather have the Mitsubishi Evo X. I heard that was suppose to compete with the M? Plus the fact that it looks purely evil. I love the lines of it. *a

The EVO VIII MR FQ400 (sadly only 100 were released in UK) can already spank an M3 and even a $279,000 Lamborghini Murcielago on track video here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WdcI_dHXOz0&search=evo%20lambo). That new lexus ain't gonna take much market away from an M3 due to the lack of a true manual trans.

Yes it sucks. I'm not a fan of these new automatic systems. Yea I know their supposed to be good, but there's something about shifting a manual gearbox that gives you that sports car feel. :2f2f:

It'd be badass, its a 4 door sedan, so im not all that bummed that its auto, but its not all that suprising. Lexus hasnt made a manual for years.
...Not that I'll ever afford one.

Well in tests, some drag cars nowadays are fitted with auto trannies because they simply don't have the same loss of RPM when shifting and if built right it is even faster than most manual tranny cars. Newer technology, even though it seems a lot easier to drive, can be better than the old manual stuff. Its just evolution, ima all for it.

Yea the new stuff is becoming very good and a lot of the version's used on consumer cars are derived right from the companies racing experience (Toyota, Porsche etc), but it' still a buzz kill for me. I'm not old school when it comes to cars really. But in this case I guess I am.
