Anyone get those $80 Tokico springs installed yet? How are they? Are they still $80, anyone have that link? Had to format my HD and lost hte bookmark. Thanks
Unfortunately for you, I ordered the last set available at Tokico. I installed them last week on stock dampers (I know, this isn't recommended). Roads are terrible here in Montreal, and I still haven't scraped or bottomed out. They give a 4 cm drop in front and a 2 cm drop in rear. Not quite the 1" that was advertised.
Here are some pics

the distance from the top of your tire to the fender looks just like my pro-kits, just in case anyone was wondering... u can't really tell from my pictures. your car is looking really good! i like the 180 spoiler, especially from the side. also that "before" wheel gap was just hideous, lol
Yeah... wheel gap was plain ridiculous! Pro-kits are advertised as a 1.8" - 1.6" drop right?
Thanks for the compliments!

heh, yeah, I'll chime in with my review as soon as I get a right front strut (grrr). Got some Tokico HP struts as well as new front mounts, but I recieved two left front struts (one used). I won't name the company yet because I don't want to give them bad press unless they suck at resolving this l'il issue :-)
Anyhow, I'll have a full review and install write up with pics once I get all my shit together.
Halo: what struts are you using? Did you need a spring compressor to get everything mounted?
I had them installed by a shop and I'm using the stock struts for the moment.
People have been telling me that the spring rate of these springs won't cause that much of a strain on the stock struts. Still, I'm prepared to see them go... I'll prolly go with Tokicos..

My car needed suspension work anyhow, mainly new front upper mounts, figgered I'd replace the struts while I was at it. Saw that price on the springs and was "w00t"
What do you think about the ride? soft? hard? and handling?
