Alright guys... I just purchased a Eastwood Fender roller for a lil under 300 bucks. I figured i'd make up SOME of my lost money and help fellow 240 enthusiast so they didnt have to break the bank like i did.
SO, i'm renting this fender roller out for 40 bucks for 4 full days of use. I prefer socal(and they get first chance) but i will ship as long as the renter pays for shipping both ways. Of course a 250 dollar deposite is required just so i know the tool will be returned. THE ENTIRE 250 will be given back as long as the tool is returned in same condition. Obviously the renter is responsible for use of the tool and must know how to use it(not rocket science...lol).
Oh, and i have great rep on ebay and paypal...ANY PAYMENT accepted, but checks must clear before i send anything!
If interested, reply here or email me at
[email protected]
thanks!
MIKE

Where are you located? If in san diego, i'd do it for 70 bucks.....(which is a killer deal considering i'm bringing the tool, jack, stand, and wrenches to YOU and doing it...)

this thread is going to get shut down. i had a fender roller rent thread and because you're not actually selling it, there will come a time where you are making profit and then you'd have to pay an advertiser's fee. i'd stick to more local forums and word of mouth.
in about 15 months i've rented it to as many people and just hit the $500 mark.. doing local pickups and shipping with deposits.. so it does take a while to turn a profit. i do it mostly as a thing to help the community run cool wheels and stuff, and i charge about the same as you do.
good luck with it.
edit: also.. the roller can be broken. i'm on my second, if you over crank it so the arm is like completely straight and keep cranking, it will strip the castle nut and some of the crank shaft and then you're kinda fucked. i called eastwood and had a new one on it's way to me that day and i just had to pay the shipping to return my old one to them. they had great customer service.

thats good to know that they will replace it...
yeah, i'm just trying to recoupe SOME of my money and help fellow zilvians out at the same time.....Not make a business off of it... I do see what you mean though..
