17x9 +35 most likely wont clear in the front but it also depends on the coilover. Theres pics all over the place, just look for it. I have some, good beater wheels. Ran over the curb the other day and it just scratched. From the sound of it, I thought for sure I bent it. I run 215/45/17s on them.

BTW, put your flame suit on.

I just ordered the 17x7 and 17x9 962's. What 215 front and 235 rear be a good size for rubbers? The reason I went for 7's in the front is because I love staggered look and I want to run good coilovers

Use the search button man. There are so many threads asking to see these same wheels on s13/14 and every single one gets locked becuase there are pics IN THE PICTURE THREAD of both combonations.

There are also 2-3 Wheel spec threads that have multiple examples. 2 minutes of searching would have answered your question.

And good coilovers=no clearance? I don't get it. Your fronts will be buldging and your rears will be somewhat stretched.

The x7 and the x9 are NOT what constitutes the "staggered look" Staggered means like 17's in front and 18's in the rear.

Coming from the hot rod side of things, though, staggered is ANY difference in diameter and/or width.

7s and 9s is going to look super funny. People run 8s on Scions for Pete's sake.

I understand where you are coming from...my dad has old cars and I grew up helping him with them, but as far as imports are concerned diameter is mainly what they focus on.

most people would call any difference in width staggered. however, he was referring to the "staggered look", which usually refers to the diameter

Here are some pictures of my 962 17x9 all the way around in rare gold. I had to use a spacer because I still have struts on but I will be putting coilovers soon. I have a friend that has coilovers and he does not use a spacer with his 962 and they clear.

since when do you have to use spacers b/c they hit your struts, but not coilovers?

should be the other way around, but correct me if im wrong

I did not understand it myself I have KYB and when the shop put them on with out the spacer they hit a little so they had to put on like a 5mm spacer but with my friend he has D2 coilovers and they were fine (wired) maybe its my tire's I have 225/45/17 in front and 245/45/17 in rear

should have gone with 40-series in the rear. you've got a dragster rake going on.

edit: eh, 2 days late, whatever

my boys got 17x9s all around with eibach spings and gr2 struts .. they are fine in the back no spacer the front rubs. The rims actually rubs on the struts so he go 5mm spacers to fix the problem
