How do you clean your head lights?

i was wondering how do poeple clean their head lights and give it the shinny apperance again. Ive notcied mines were turnning foggy and yellow. I was told I need to wet sand and use some sort of polish. I am not sure of the steps and the products that I need to use. Anyone got some adivce let eme know thanks

Quick and cheap way...aluminum polish with microfiber, then plastic wax, then a coat of carnuba...

Expensive "to end all" approach, the german glass headlights.

There is the other alternative to cleaning, but any way around it, it will be a labor of love...requiring you to maintain by repeating the process.
