This fucking sucks .. I got all my parts for my car Saturday. 10 hours later all installed.. Last but not least the hareness that I have been so nervous over.. Crank Crank Crank no starty.. Ecu light on the entire time.. I think at that time I had spark I had fuel from the pump but sounded weird... Hella pressure in the fuel line..But no fuel in the cylinders. Took the harness out and went home... Looked it over compared to the crappy on line diagram .. Every thang seemed right so I went back to the shop in the morning.. Nothing no spark no fuel pump no ecu lights just cranks...wtf

How do you know if you had spark and fuel?
The FSM has procedures to check if your injectors are spraying properly.

SR? KA? RB? CA?

its a sr ..I know the fuel pump was kicking on... And the fuel line when removed was under a extreme amount of pressure and shoot across my garage..Does the light always come on on the sr ecu while trying to start it in perfect running condtion?

come to thik maby u hooke dthe fuel line in backwards. alot of ppl seem to do that on SR swaps. it is pretty easy to get the lines mixed up. the firs time arround. fromt he fuel shooting out across the garage it sure sounds liek it

I went by this to wire the engine up.And I think I know the prob now.. My tired ass pu the fuel line on backwards..And now I think the harness got damaged when pulling it in and out.

check to make sure that you connected the harness where the coilpacks connect to it. i know it sounds dumb, but after hours of working its easy to overlook that. if not, start from your ecu and shoot the wires the the ignitor. there are four of them.

the coil pack harness also has a ground wire that's bolted to the back of the engine. make sure that that's connected. it's also easy to overlook this lil ground wire. don't ask how i know this. ;P

Check your fuses and test the injector harnesses with a noid light. This will start your way on solving the problem with the cylinders not getting fuel. If there is not light when cranking, look into a possible wiring problem for one.

Coilpacks not getting power? Willing to bet a wiring problem, but use the old multimeter to test the coilpacks. The chances of all 4 being bad are pretty slim. The procedures are outlined in the FSM. If there is still a problem, check the ignitor.

If the coil packs need to be replaced, look into some splitfires...;)
