Maybe someone can help me on this. I got a 93 s13 coupe.

First, is there anyway to tighten up the steering? My steering wheels has a bit of play in it, and it freaking sucks.

Second, when I break hard, the car steers itself, to the right constantly. And when I make quick left turns, the car will turn a little more left half way through the turn.

This was noticeable after an alignment (2 years ago) and over time it got progressivly worst. I ask the alignemnt guy right after it was done, he said I had a bent upper control arm, since an s13 has no upper control arm, he's a fool.

I am thinking it might be the tie rod? Can someone give me more info and wisdom?

Thanks.

it may not be in your steering wheel or steering column, it could actually be the bushings in your tensions rods being shot. i would check for leaks and cracks. Shitty bushings can sometimes cause the symptoms that you are having. check and let me know.

i believe there is a bushing in the steering column to take out vibrations, double check to see if its still intact. also check tire pressure at each corner, and make sure car is symetrical down the middle. also have you gotten an alignment recently? check your suspension components for damage and replace as necessary then get an alignment.
