you will have to run at leat a 30 + mm spacer for these to even remotely work.
if you are going overfenders.
then it would be best to spend over 2g's and get some custom wheels

actually thats about what I heard too on the weights. I dont think its grossly overrated. Jordan Gladman on KA-T ran them on his car for awhile but he was saying wheels with tires was over 50lbs. Is there any way you could possibly get a more definitive weight? Thats been the primary complaint on sport max wheels so if you could weigh them on a more precise scale and give exact numbers for specific wheels im sure it would greatly be appreciated (not a bathroom scale measurement).

Hell ive avoided sport max like the plague because of the weight. I remember I purchased my d2 wheels on a group buy and tougefactory promised me like 20-21lbs a wheel... when it arrived a 17x9.5 was 27lbs!!! at that point it was obviously of no use to me. I have a friend who is closely watching this thread and wanting to buy in, but absolutely no offense to you- after what happened to me with the touge factory unfortuanately it put me in a "believe it when I see it" mode and I would have to see a pic of the wheel on a scale (non 4.99 walmart type)

Weight matters to alot of people, even to the people who cant afford something like a te37 :p. I would certainly love it if you could give me the magnesium te37s in blue for sport max prices however since im a poor ass :-)

there is no simple way of going about that.
if you want a light wheel it will either be really expensive or quality not as good.

if you want a good wheel in 4 lug buy a rpf1 or 5zigen fn01rc.. that is on the medium scale. of pricing 800-1000 a set (i can sell those to you as well =)
which is almost twice the price as some of these sportmax wheels. However some people don't have money to spend that much.

So for those who want wheels but don't want to spend 1000 + these are what is good for them.

Not without spacers and some fender modding up front.

It's 18x9.5 +35, that's the issue. Even 9.5 is the correct backspacing will more than likely pull on your front fender. You will need to mod the front fender.
