Are rocker arm stoppers a necessity ? Or just a precaution ?, and what are your experiences with them whoever has them ?

imo, necessity
bouncing off redline is fun..until th emotor pops
i remember i put in my RAS before an event
first run of the day i recall shifting from 2nd to 1st, at redline in second

i shit my pants, threw it into third and railed the gas and te car kept sliding
ran like a champ all day too.
i love RAS.
its so cheap there's no reason NOT to.

I am buying them, I just wanted to make sure there was a reason I was buying them. Not just because everyone says that you should get them for the motor.
