Ok, well I was trying to take off one of the rear brake lines and the fitting got rounded enough to wear I still cant loosen it (used an open-ended wrench). So will I be alright just having the front brake lines be SS and the rear be rubber? Will this put more stress on the rear rubber lines?

I've been running SS lines on front and rubbers on back for the past year.
Got too lazy to put in the rears since theyre in a tight spot.
Just buy a flarenut wrench from Kragen... I think the 12mm is around $6.

Sorry, flarenut is what I meant to say I used, not open-ended wrench. Did you still see a difference in braking?
Vise-Grips for teh win.
Then what about my current hardline?

You'll just have to get another bajo bolt, and you should be fine. Get a new pair for the rears and you should be fine.

What would that do? OE brake line fittings are 10mm.

Its not a banjo bolt, its the one that screws over the top of the hardline. The one that you need a flarenut wrench to unscrew.
