Tried to install my Silvia Trunk lock today. Looked at it for about 10mins and I didnt know what to do. I first thought of swaping the locks and found out that could be done. Im guessing I would need a locksmith or something so the new lock will use the same key for my doors and ignition? Anyways can someone please walk me though this thanks

When you flip open the Silvia lock you will see a black plastic trim ring. That ring can be removed with care and then the "cylinder" can be removed from the Silvia Lock. Now just remove the cylinder from your stock lock and swap their locations. If you aren't confortable with this method, then maybe you should take it to a locksmith.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!! go get a key made i tried to find a way around it but it didn't work..
you can have a seperate key (made by a locksmith) for the trunk or just use the lever by the seat
you can take out your old trunk lock with some plyers the little fork metal should pop right out leaving the lock with no support..
pull it out put the silvia one in and replace it with the fork metal the silvia one came with
will post pictures later.. too hot right now :faint: hah
