How much money have you put into your car?

hey guys, i just got a '96 240sx se with fairly low miles (77k), and i cant wait to start hooking it up :) just wondering about how much you guys have spent on your car(s)? who thinks they've spent the most?

Second S13: $9K +parts from the first S13
Third S13 (actually the first being rebuilt from a shell) hopefully less than $5k

I also got an S14. So far I've spent around $3k mostly on suspension like wheels, coilovers, etc.

And am going to spend anotehr $3k soon for a KA-T :blah:

cap and rotor + spark plug wires + spark plugs 62
air filter + fuel filter 17
redline mt-90 3quarts 33 (autobacs is way overpriced)
junk yarded misc interior pieces 22 (speaker grills, new vent covers, new seat belt buckle)
injectors with great flow results 15 (not installed)
strut tower bar and c-pillar bar 89

aproximately 281 dollars

well the mods that are on (or going on)=20686, but theres a lot more that I spent. Buying the silvia front end (twice), getting fucked over on parts, ect. I'd say I'm into it 27k and I dont even have paint yet.....

Roughly 10k into a 240sx will get you a car that is as fast & maneuverable as an evo.

Thats why im keeping mine ;)

like 15k, and ill still never be happy with it. its a wretch in my stomach every time i think about it, i mean look theres nothing great about it. paint kinda sucks, i got rust, an engine that doesnt treat me well, and a suspension system that makes me cringe.
