hey guys. can anyone out there using an S-AFC please help me out? its in reference to the "Dec. Air" setting, which allows you to correct the idle to compensate for a BOV that vents to atmosphere. as i understand its supposed to work with all vehicles with a hot-wire type sensor, as the RB/SR engines use. but under the "throttle" setting on the "dec. air" menu, mine reads ****. which means the dec. air setting is non functional. is anyone else experiencing this? any help is appreciated. thanks!

you have to set the decel air function.
If this is a used item?
Download s-afc m1 and m2.

it's pointless, leave it alone!! it doesn't help any even if you do the settings on it. but if you really want to mess with, here's a link to a guy that tells you how to do the settings on nico.

hey thanx for the replies guys...i checked out that post & the problem is, I already know how to mess with it, the problem is i CANT mess with it, because its telling me my dec. air setting is non-functional. for the throttle setting it just shows "****", and i cant change that to numbers. which is what its supposed to show when you set the sensor type to karman, flap, etc. but of course mine is on hot-wire, so its supposed to work, as ive been told. is anyone else here experiencing this or heard of this happening?

ok i found the problem- im an idiot. i just had to push the up button on the throttle setting to adjust it :duh: is it just me or does car stuff not like to work UNTIL you ask someone a question? i mean, i must have pushed every button 1000 times before making my original post, & as soon as i ask the question, now it works all of a sudden. ithink my car likes to make me feel stupid lol..thanx for the help guys. btw tchenku the setting has helped adjust my idle...im not sure which motor youre using the afc on but its definetly helpin my RB20. thanks again.
