I figure since i have the thing organized, i should have a new thread with the update as the first post inside of hidden in the third page.

NEW UPDATE:
so i have decided a location, time and date for this. This event will be from June 23-25.

When: June 22-25, 2006
Time:
~June 22: meet up and prepare for the weekend
~June 23: BBQ/CAR SHOW/MEET/FARMERS MARKET
~June 24: D-UNIT'S BBQ AND GO KART COMPETITION
~June 25: hang out and do whatever
Who: Mainly 240sx but any other Nissan model is ok
Why: To fill in the gap of the popular demanded National 240sx Convention

June 22: This day is when we all get together and hang out and do whatever suits our fancy. We could hang around san francisco and hang out or go to san jose and grab some food and catch a movie or whatever. Mainly this day is to organize and get ppl to prepare for the weekend. We can hit up a club, strip joint, movie, dinner whatever. I will supply my phone number in the near future for ppl to contact me to see where we are at the moment. You can also go off by urself and do whatever u please :D

June 23:
**I WILL HAVE A CONTRACT FOR EVERYONE ATTENDING TO SIGN! IF U WISH TO PARK YOUR CAR IN THE PARKING LOT OR STAY FOR THE MEET YOU MUST SIGN. THIS CONTRACT IS SAYING THAT YOU WILL NOT BE AN IDIOT AND DO BURNOUTS DRIFTING OR ANYTHING THAT WILL GET YOU OR ME IN TROUBLE. IF YOU DO VIOLATE THE RULES, U PAY THE FINE AND PAY ME THE SAME AMOUNT FOR ME TAKING THE BLAME AND GOING THRU THE HASSLE. NO JOKE. THIS IS A LEGAL DOCUMENT.**

The meet will be held at SEA CLOUD PARK IN FOSTER CITY. I will go to the city and request a permit for this parking lot. This bbq/meet begins at 10am-6pm or later. In the parking lot we will have a meet/car show, have a couple of shops put up canopys for their shops, a section for ppl selling their stuff, and just a place to chill and check out cars. The food will be on the beach itself. I will try to get several ppl to bring some grills so we can cook the food pretty fast. We will hang out there, eat, chill, go swimming, play some ball whatever u feel like doing. REMEMBER NO STUPID STUFF THAT WILL GET U AND ME IN TROUBLE.

When first entering the parking lot you will have to sign the contract and required to pay 10 dollars. (this 10 dollars is for drinks and food. THIS WILL ALSO GIVE U A RAFFLE TICKET!) Towards the middle/end we will have a raffle drawing for some goods or stuff. (i will purchase stuff like suspension rods and small stuff for the raffle and talk to shops to see if they are willing to chip in.) SOME MAY THINK THE 10 IS STEEP BUT IM PRETTY SURE WE CAN AFFORD IT (im guessin about ~50 ppl will show up for that rounds to 500 bucks; 200 for food 300 for prizes).

June 24:
We will be going to D-Units bbq and go kart competition to make up the track day and more activities.


This may be the end of the whole regional thing unless someone can contact me and do the track part cuz i dont have time or the "connections" to set it up.

Summary: 10am-6pm or later; meet/car show/shop booths/farmers market in the parking lot; food and activities on beach; $10 entrance fee for food/drinks/1 raffle ticket; you must sign a contract saying u would do stupid stuff otherwise u pay double the fine.

I know my way around SF pretty freaking good since my girl lives up there. It's a pretty sweet place with plenty of stuff to do. If people need to know where to eat/shop/chill I'll be glad to point them in the right direction. I say on one of the days we SUSHI IT UP!!! There are LOTS of great sushi places all over SF.

OK I ran into an issue about this event cuz this is the same day as the D-Unit bbq SO i will back this bbq to FRIDAY JUNE 23RD AT SEA CLOUD PARK IN FOSTER CITY! we will have the big regional meet/bbq and then chill that night and then sat rolls along we can roll out to DUnits bbq and go kart competetion and stuff.

DUE TO THE RECENT DEBUT OF FF3 AND FREQUENT POPPINGS AROUND THE AREA (SAN MATEO/SAN FRANCISCO COUNTY) I WILL BE FORCED TO POSTPONE THIS TILL FURTHER NOTICE.

lately alot of ppl have been being popped and harassed and have been labeled as street racers. This is something i DO NOT want to happen at the meet. Usually cops around FC are nice if u respect them but not theyre dicks again. If we meet up and bbq then we call us street racers and that were gathering to go to the "runs" and all that bullshit. I can pretty much bet attendance will be low due to paranoia and the outcome will be shitty so i will postpone until the ease up a little on us

well we can meet up at tap x but im sure cops will be coming. i really didnt want to postpone this or anything but everyday i hear about at least 1 person getting popped and i dont want anyone losing their car over a meet. Ill probably have it at the end of august or so? i have to see and figure out when is a good time. Now is when the hype is rising and the cops are becoming more aware, as time goes by it wont be such a big deal and then we can have a nice and relaxing bbq without being treated as street racers.
