i dont know about the clutch problem, but the vibration could be a bad motor or transmission mount, i have the same problem, when taking off in first but its only when i try to take off really slowly and i know i have a motor mount, just no time to change it out...lol. anyways check ur mounts.

Clutch slipping or contamination on the pressure plate or clutch disk.
As for the clutch pedal being to high, try adjusting via the master rod at the pedal.

ive replaced the clutch twice, same result.
i do have really really bad motor mounts. i mean they should have been changed a long time ago..
ill try the master rod, hopefully itll help :D

clutch is adjusted, the engagement is alot lower, and the vibration is practially gone. im guessing it was adjusted so that the clutch wasnt fully engaging
