Scammer thread in For Sale Section, Who else is willing to help??

Thats the thread where the guy got fucked over $2k for a motor he was going to buy from that "fake" seller. $2k is a lot of money for one person alone, but with our community EASILY being over 2k in population, Id be more than happy to start a donation for this guy, all we need is at least 2k or even 1500 people to donate only $1.00 DOLLAR and that would really help out thsi guy, anyone else interested in starting this with me to make it official?

my brother got scammed $2800 cash a couple days ago from some Canadian guy. dont know the full details but it was something along the lines of, heres a check for $5000 send me $2800 and keep the rest. My bro said it sounded SO LEGIT...but in the end he got screwed..the bank will reimburse i think though.

Iono...it sucks and all but honestly he should have known better. Im not trying to sound like a dick but how many times have we all heard stories of people getting jipped out of parts. Its bad/hard enough to recoup your shiet from a US-US transanction. Imagine how much more harder it is since Canada aint exactly the states. Iono, im still a firm believer of "if its too good to be true, it probably isnt." As shietty as it may sound, youd be better off getting an engine from Venus, atleast if somethings wrong with it, you can still drive to Sac and get a replacement. Shiet i got some pull in Venus, if you decide to try to pick up an engine from Ronald, lemme know and ill go with you. Ill gurantee that youll get more out of your money with me there than you going by yourself. I've known them guys long enough that i can get somewhat of a "hook-up"

I agree with ray. Sending over 1000 to someone that doesnt have lots of reputation is really taking a risk. He took the risk of a 'good deal' and in the ind he got the short end of the stick. Lesson should be learned from him.
