stunt road run

hey , me and my buddies are going to stunt road in calabasas ca... at 1 am on friday night the 14th... anyone wanna join? i know some dope canyons in the area , gauranteed to have some fun ... from like 1 am to 3 or 4 doesnt matter...if anyone is interested ill give directions to somewhere we could meet up ...

Ive been to that area during the daytime with coolerow and our usual group, but what's it like at night?

Racing at NIGHT has an advantage like no traffic. If there is an incoming car, you can always spot it by its lights. If you drive up there, you have to get some good lighting though. Or else it'll be very hard to judge turns.

Anyways, 9524tee, I hope you guys have a good time, and I hope you know those people very well and know their skill of driving. Its crappy when you fell responsible when someone crashes. Jus be safe out there, and don't underestimate!

If you guys are gonna be doing some night time canyon driving, make sure you have adequate lighting.  My car's lights are very poor, and make it real easy to underestimate turns, road conditions, etc etc.  

HID's are good driving lights, as are PIAA yellows... Yellow lights actually are better for night time driving.  Just a thought if you're gonna be going out there.

well anyways , if anyone does want to go , lets start makin some plans... the road is pretty easy to see around the turns... there are a couple ones that are really tight , but we can do some practice runs so you get used to it...

aight people , we are going to meet up at mac donalds at 12 on friday night the 14th... directions+ from l.a. area... 101 north exit valley circle , take a left theres a mac donalds on the left... right after you cross the bridge, the canyons are only a mile away from there ... hope to see ya...

excellent, looks like a good time for my projectors to go to work, + my yellow fog lights. &nbsp;the fog light is freakin spread out like crazy. &nbsp;excellent... but will i make it? &nbsp;i don't know... &nbsp;if i go, i'll go for, EASY CRUSING, it'd suck to wreck your car @ night, and u can't see jack shit &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':angry:'> but who else is showing? &nbsp;i've always wanted to show up a bit late, but maybe too late...

Be careful on Stunt, theres a couple really rough areas near the end where u can lose it. &nbsp;Theres also a lot of those center divider bumps so going over the line isnt suggested...it's a pretty easy course, and fairly short

couple of nice hairpins up there...but might catch u offguard. &nbsp;Might wanna do a roll through the first time if u guys have never driven it.

P.S. Watch out for those tricky cement cylinders. Those things like to jump out in front of people.

i just think its funny that as soon as a few people found out there are some fwd's going, they all cancel, &nbsp;"OH MY GOD, THERE WILL BE INTEGRAS? I BET THEY ARE FULL OF RICE" &nbsp;i wish i lived in an area where people were just willing to hang out, drive around, and have a good time. &nbsp;the drivetrain of a car shouldnt matter if they are WORTHY or not. &nbsp;i just think a lot of people are scared of being shown up by the "H" badge. &nbsp;and No, im not a troll, i own both a 95 civic and a 89 240, and i would much rather drive my civic around dark, windy, canyon roads, than my 240. &nbsp;anyways, its late, im drunk, but a car enthusiast is still an enthusiast. &nbsp;later all.

Well, I said that FF cars makes me want to go, meaning GO to the canyons because yea.... it does. You must have misunderstood what I said. And by "being out of town" meant that I was visiting a college that day, and the college is far away so I was a 5.5 hour drive away from home.
