oh...the widest part of the seat where the bolsters are is 22 inches. the bottom is 18 inches

when i sat in it and moved around it hugged me pretty well. im not sure how to prove that to u tho.

I guess I'd have to trust you. I'm not really asking if it hugged you. In fact I think hugging is what I don't want. I want something that is going to be rigid and provide a very good consistant base. I've been looking and Kirke's. Maybe thats what I should stick with.
