I need to figure out how to remove the climate control bezel in my s14. Didn't know if you just pull it out or if you have to unscrew things first. Also if anyone knows, how do you remove the vents off the door panels near the door handle?

I searched but found more wtb or fs than anything useful.

Thanks

Just pull it from under neat. There are clips holding it in place. Catch is be very careful when you do since 10 yr old plastic parts on the car have a tendency to crack. Mine cracked after pulling it a couple of times to change my radio. Same thing for the vents...just plastci clips

like fliprayzin240sx said be careful...these things have a real tendancy to crack around the clips.

Door vents come out from the front after removing three screws, pull the panel and you'll see them.
You could have also just used common sense, or as shown above the FSM.

It helps to remove the end button things near the hazard switch and defroster for leverage..

Hey just wanted to thank everyone again that posted. I got it off no problems, probably due to some :mrmeph: breaking the metal clips off. See the plastic that the metal clips is wrap around are all intact, its just the actual metal parts that are missing:confused: Anyway I pulled all the buttons out the bottom, and got the vents off too with a slight struggle w/ patience lol. Plan is to repaint bezel black, white or blue, because one of the previous owners obviously had 2 circular objects or stickers on there, that left stains from adhesive:confused: Tried oops on it, but quit once I saw black was coming off lol. NO biggie. Next I plan to tackle trim around radio, to match w/ paint.

I'll be getting around to the doors soon to fix rattle noise on drivers and realign the bezel on the pass. door vent

Thanks again
