ok, everything that could possibly be plugged in has been double checked and everything checks out...wouldn't start, stabbed CAS, started and idled beautifully. Turned it off to call a friend and celebrate, went to start it up to let him hear it run and all it would do is crank and would not fire...would get occasional pop or back fire but absolutely nothing as far as running. Once again, checked all the plugs and all is well...do I have a fried ignitor? any input would be appreciated.

Might be the fuel pump. turn the key to run without cranking it, and see if you can hear the pump whine for a little bit. 240 fuel pumps have a nasty habit of unexpectadly going out.

if he's popping, i think he's getting fuel.

Got it running...or idiling atleast, turned out cas needed to be turned back a couple teeth. Now we have more problems, it will idle at about 800rpm but will only rev up to 2k and die, sounds like a bad mafs or wiring right (we are using a z32 mafs btw)? well, all wires check out and we thought maybe the mafs itself was bad so we borrowed a buddies working one and it did the same thing. We have checked and double checked all vacuum lines, intercooler pipint you name it and can't find one leak...any ideas?
