Let's see.. I'm just wondering if you guys here in socal know of any really nice spots.. like a park, or a lake maybe.. I'm just trying to find a nice spot to bring a date to, and just talk.. haha you know, something to lighten up the mood because the place is just tight. I'm personally from the 951 (Riverside county), so I'd like them to be sorta near.. so either in Riverside county, orange county, or some areas in the 626. Let me know guys, my prom's next week, and I'm trying to find a place.

Oh yeah, prom's gonna be in Anaheim, so the closer it is, the better for me :)

Where in Anaheim? Take her to Disneyland, or Downtown Disney, lol.

Yeah, might as well take her to downtown disney. Lots of shops to go into, walk around, play games at ESPN zone, etc.

Take her to the block. They have Dave and Busters, TGIFridays, Bowling, food, movies, shops, VICTORIAS SECRET and FREDRICKS OF HOLLYWOOD. You should buy her some stuff at victorias secret., girls love that stuff, even if you're not gonna get any....then take her to eat and play games at d&b's.

They can't get inside D&B's without someone 25+ escorting them inside. Downtown Disney is a good bet, and it's nearby.

Downtown Disney is nice, especially if you take her for a walk between the hotels, there's like lil bridges over little ponds and streams, and it's really nice. That and, take her to get a teddy bear at Build-A-Bear workshop.

down katella ave there are a bunch of nice hotels and stuff that have gardens you could chill at... i would say take her to the "top of the world", there are a few in socal i used to frequent in high school... you should know where they are.

Downtown Disney is sounding good.. hopefully I get a chance to explore the area first so I know about it before hand.. or I could just get lost there with her hahaha.

For down Katella, I might just check it out.. because my prom's actually on KATELLA (The Grove of Anaheim), right behind Angel Stadium. Thanks, and keep em coming! I wouldn't mind having more options.

EDIT: What's "the top of the world"? I looked it up on google with "southern california" and nothing really got cleared up.. so if you could link me to something/explain, that'd be great.

"the top of the world" just refers to a spot that is on top of a hill... a place you can take a girl to and see ALL of southern california lit up at night, or at least what seems like it. its been 3 years since ive lived in LA, but if youre willing to drive to the 626 area, i know a spot. there should be some in orange where you can go. basically just find residential areas that have ridiculous views of the whole area, and try to drive up them...

if that doesnt help, lemme know, ill tell you where the 626 "top of the world" is...

For those that mentioned Downtown Disney.. what tome does the area actually close? Prom ends at 11:30.. but either way, I don't want to head over there just to find out that they close at 12 or something.. I can't seem to find the exact time.. http://disneyland.disney.go.com/disneyland/en_US/moreMagic/landing?name=DowntownDisneyLandingPage

Yeah, I don't mind driving to the 626 at all.. one of those "top of the world" things was actually part of my original plan (with the star gazing/just talking), but the one that I found was nice, but SUPER COLD cause it was so damn windy up there with nothing to cover up. So yeah, if you could let me know, that's be great!

Which area is big azusa located actually? I don't really go there much, but I'm semi familiar with the chino/diamond bar/el monte/san gabriel areas.

Anyone know some nice spots around/near the Anaheim area? I think Downtown Disney is sorta out of the question for now.. just because it'll be too late. I'm thinking of something like somewhere dark, where there's a real nice view. Star gazing is the way to go for this one I think..

Chapman Hills, before Black star canyon. It's a good spot.

Nice drive with a clear view.

Just don't go to Black star itself, there's GHOST THERE!

Okay, so I'm still saying in Anaheim.. and I've yet to actually find a good spot.. does anyone know a place at all? And if so, please be specific.. I'm not from the area, so if you say for example, "good gardens", I won't know where that is. Prom's two days away, and I'm just still trying to have something planned out, & where.
