Hey all,

I recently received my RAS from Enjuku Racing (prompt shipping).

They seem to be of good quality but there is this rubber backing that is coming off the back's of em. Is this backing necessary? Does it matter that it is falling off in places?

u clean that stuff off before you install. that rubber stuff is there to protect the metal from the cutting production process.

Werd gotcha.

I was wondering about that when i first got em. No way i want that crap floating around in my valvetrain after it falls off the RAS at 7k rpms.

Any idea why they come packed like that?

taking it off is too time consuming for manufacturers. customers can do it themselves :)
