Ok i have a 1990 nissan 240 sx hatchback, first off im doing ALOT of work on the engine, including gettign rid of fuel injection and putting in carburators, head mod, bigger cam, bigger pistons, the works.. Some told me that if i burn out, then i will only burn out with one wheel because of the LSD, if that is true how can i fix and what do i need..

thanks

exact opposite. LSD will allow you to burnout with BOTH wheels while an Open Differential will spin one wheel (peg-legged style )

yup...I too am a "one-wheeler-peeler". It sucks and looks WAY lame in front of your friends. But hey, just get all your friends to watch from the driver's side and they'll never notice!

Just a question...Why carborators? Is there a hidden benefit to it or do you just like to play around w/ new setups?

thanks,

a dual carberator set up will be better then a efi setup for a minimual n/a setup.....but if ur going for over 240hp n/a...efi is the way to go with our engines

Are you speaking of the Mikuni Carbs for the KA24E?? I think they are the only ones for the KA out. Going full n/a I assume?

p.s. I think you meant Higher compression pistons, not BIGGER pistons.

Im done planning. What I'm doing is sending my engine to this company in the mid-west that does engine rebuilds and im getting my motor back with 232 hp and 3 dual barrel weber side carbs, plus im gettign the block bored, im getting new high performance cam and alot of other stuff. When the motor is completey done which will def be by Nov, i am hoping to have around 350 hp or more. The company has some cool thing where if you buy the motor between set1 and nov1 you get 20% off.. so im gonna wait till then. then while im waiting for that im gonna do the suspension with koni shocks whiteline lowering springs, plus put in the Apexi N1 cat back system with hot shot headers and get the engine area painted, i have already shaved the handles and put the keyless entry in plus im gettign 180sx lights for the car..... and yes i have the money.. LOL my wonderful dad knew how much it meant to me so he took out a loan for me and i have to pay it back.. lol.. i will def start takign pics when im pulling the engine and doing the suspension... if you have anymore question please feel free to ask, i have the WHOLE car planned out..

P.S. the company's website where im getting the motor rebuild is www.paeco.com the website sux so order the catalog. the website doesn't list anythign they have...
