As some of you have read on my other  thread (http://www.zilvia.net/f/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=2;t=10455)

I've got the 30mm Aluminium 300ZX calipers upgrade in the front and pads upgrade on the rear with stainless lines all the way around.

For pads, I'm using the Project Mu B-Force pads front and back.

Rotors, I'm using Heavy Throttle front 30mm 300ZX, and rears are Brembo blanks.

the install as you guys can see in my other thread, was a B**CH.  because of my bad luck... and one other little problem during the brake in period was I was getting a low frequency pulse in the brakes during braking.

Later I found out that it was because I didn't dissconnet the battery long enough when I bleed my brakes.. I was suppose to dissconnect the battery for at least 30mins to let the ABS system to reset itself to learn to the new thickness of brake pads and rotors.

After resetting the system, everything was fine.

For the review now....

initial feel during the brake in period was not bad.  WAY WAY WAY better then my stock S14 brakes, but not like a CRAZY stopping power on the pedal.  Since the S14 master cylinder was not ment for 8 pistons for the front brakes, i was expecting some sort of mushy padel feel.  But it actually turned out a tad bit more responsive then the stock S14 brakes.  I'm guessing it's got a lot to do with the Stainless lines all around and the ATE SuperBlue brake fluid that I've upgraded to.

once I got the break-in done, and went out to test out the brakes in the high way... man are those good pads and good calipers.  I can feel the car really trying to stop, in stead of the slam the brake padels and car still shots forward like before.  Like i said, they're not WOW WOW WOW crazy good, but much better then stock.  I've tried much better braking systems then what I have now on other cars and what I have now is not the best.

As for the pads, they don't really give out too much brake dust as most performance pads do, and since the working temp. starts at zero degrees, they need not to be warmed before they work.  Which on the other hand isn't noisy at all.  Very street use friendly.  Also, they don't seem to mark up the rotors as well as do a lot of metalic performance pads do.. since the B-Force are not fully metalic pads.

I'll do another write up on how the brakes keep up after an auto-x even that i'll be attending to later this month.

hope my experience would of be helpful to some people &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> enjoy, &nbsp;drive safe.

oh, by the way... i'm hoping to be trying out the Project Mu Titan Kei performance pads in the near future too... a number of my friends just switch to those pads, and EVERY SINGLE ONE of them says they'll never use another brake pad again...

so i'll see. &nbsp; <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'>

Also, I'll be upgrading the brake master cylinder to the 300ZX one too soon, and I'll do a little write up on that as well. &nbsp; <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

good info. &nbsp;I wonder how much better the 300 MC will make the brakes... &nbsp;will be interesting to see.
