First of all, yes i have searched for answers. found none. So here is my problem:
I have a 89 240 with single cam. Dropped in a 91 twin cam, did the wiring correctly, and the motor came out of a running car. The car will only start if i block off the biggest vacuum line ( i think its the one for pcv) when cranking. when the motor then catches, i unblock the hose, and it idles. when i try to rev the motor, it dies. some people have said MAF sensor. But the MAF was also from a running car.Has anyone incountered this problem before, or possibly know the cause?? Thanks
