does anyone know the cheapest site for either of them?

id suggest KTS coilovers from splparts.com
They are 1100 shipped but they are much better than those crappy D2 coilovers which I had on my ford probe gt

uh, yeah, i did do searching, and guess what, WITH GOOGLE TOO!! OMG OMG and even then, i found cheaper prices than froogle/google


i asked a question to help make my searching more efficient, isnt that what forums are for? or are they just for people to brag about what they already own?

yeah that is a good deal for KTS. it's going to take a while to fill the gb, though.

there are also a few vendors offering megans. those are cheap as well... pretty good for the price.

D2 is ok stuff, even though I have heard some mixed reviews. Ksport/D2 (same thing if I am not mistaken)are both pretty good for the money. My friend runs K-sports and they ride nice, and are super stiff. Anyway, for cheap prices, you should just check the zilvia group buy/advertiser special forums. Thats gonna be your best bet :D

Also, for the s13, tanabe has some 750$(give or take a few bucks depending on store) coilovers, that I hear aren't terrible.
