Well... hopefully tonight, tommorrow at the latest, I will buy a HKS SSQV blow off valve. My question is, should I get a universal, or say a sr20det bov? I don't know the difference, but I know the sr bov is cheaper... $199 compared to $250. Isn't it just a thing that screws into the intake tubing? Why are there different models...
Anyway... universal or sr20?

A BOV is just a BOV.....you can use a SR one but yoiu will have to worry about mounting. Not sure how the SR will mount to you KA...you would prob be better off buyin a Universal HKS...BUT....you wll have to find a place to mount it. Usually you will have to buy a universal flange (either alum, mild or stainless) depending what type of metal you are going to mount it to.
What most people do is take their IC piping to a shop and have a hole cut in and then the flange welded to it.
If you do plan to run higher boost later i would say get the HKS also the fact that it is a pull type and less prone to leaking during high boost.
