Hey zilvians,

let me first say that i'm not trying to advertise our shop what so ever. I don't even put a banner of our shop in my signiture, but today I came into work and saw this! Hope this isn't against the rules or anything. If it is feel free to do what you need, I just thought it would be cool to see it. We are in Santa Monica you can look it up on google, but I thought if your a Silvia fan like me and wanted to check out the car come on by. The car is SICK!!!! Carbon everything and it's beautiful! Swift Springs needed a place to store it after the Formula D show yesterday so we offered our shop. So if you wanted to see it come on by. Thanks Guys!

And to think my company met Swift at Sema two years ago when they first came State side from Japan. Saw the building of this car and I must say I was impressed and even more impressed now.

Relatively stock suspension/brakes/engine and still an awesome car around the track. Talk about excellent balance! Nice pictures EvilRB!

I bet MSRP on those :jerkit: cool rims are going to be high:mad: when they come to the states.

Yea if you re-read what I said, I said "relatively" stock meaning that the calipers are factory, brake pads upgraded, etc.

If it was all stock it wouldn't be a time attack car right?

Hmm.. if i whore myself out to 1000 fat guys for 10 dollars each on craigslist... I could probably afford those rims.

I saw the car at Formula D. Someone's telling you incorrect information. Those are Daytona Racing 505 by Rays and the lip is their new stainless jacket.

Are you guys still an HKS pro dealer?

EchoOfSilence
04-03-2006, 11:33 PM
is this "brainstorm" the same shop that deals w/ miata performance productS?

EvilRB
04-03-2006, 11:43 PM
yes we still are a HKS pro dealer and yes we are the same shop that specialized in Miatas but now we are expanding to all middle to high end JDM and european cars. but,I wouldn't call our shop high end, maybe middle end if there is such a thing lol.

as far as the stainless jacket thing I was just told by SWIFT themselves that these were prototyped rims of some sort. so your guess is as good as mine but regardless they are sick.

Like is said if you want to come by and check them out for yourself you more then welcome. you can also see our other shop cars in the background of the 3rd pic.

Mine is not a guess. Look on the wheels for yourself. They say "RAYS." They are some pretty nice wheels though. Perhaps the person who told you the car has work wheels was talking about the front wheels? They do look like one of the new models Logan at A Spec posted earlier.

Regarding your pro dealer status, the reason I ask is because I was told your shop tunes the FCon VPro but when I called over there someone told me to call SP Engineering.

lol, yeah we had some issues earlier with our HKS pro dealer status before i started working there, we have new owners and they didn't fill out all the correct paper work or something, now it should be good though

04-04-2006, 12:39 AM
that is the ion coating or whatever on the wheel that gives it the rainbow color lookin lip. its still in development and in the testing phase or whatever. I called mackin industry to find this out, apparently a customer of mine said it was already available and shops cna order it, but i double checked with BRS and mackin to find out and they said it wasnt, only the new stainless jacket is availble, im guessing thats why the prices went up. =)

EvilRB

^Thanks for clearing that up, Crazy9ceguy, I was about to call Swift tomorrow and find out Just because people are asking, again through it all though I'm just relaying what I was told by SWIFT. They are some pretty kool guys and their suspension is awesome!!

BTW I love your Sig

I like the car, but I think the alchezza tail lights are cheap and fugly. The car would look a lot nicer with the oem tail lights on. Thats just my opinion.

one of wise's commonly sold products are aftermarket taillights. gotta push your product on the demo car.

ps i would like to think a circuit car would have more than stock calipers. mad weak.

yeah we displayed the swift S15 this past weekend at our booth for formula D

just FYI

those are daytona wheels, cant get them in the US, unless you do something like 40 pieces

as far as the ion rainbow coating, thats available on wheels such as the 57 pro and 57S pro, it would be an extra $140 / wheel

the thing is that a lot of people are hyped over the rainbow lips but im not sure who is gonna cough up the chedda, especially us budget minded 240sxers :)

Is that hood like. . .bronzed?

its made out of technora, a composite material produced by teijin

the hood is a wise square hood

its semi transparent and they smoked and masked the design on there

here's some background on technora:

http://www.teijin-aramid.com/eng/tech_tokutyo.htm

and that hood is very very $$$ so lets not get any ideas of actually owning one

Man noones gonna cough up another $140 a wheel and if they do their homos because Ion Rainbow Lips = :ghey:

Hahahhaa, on a serious note.....I'm in love with that Swift S15, my favorite build up thus far, very balanced when it comes to track.

04-05-2006, 01:11 AM
i very much like a stock looking, clean S15 better, but theres no way that it would get the kind of sponsorship and attention that the owners want. mechanically, it is a very solid car, with just the right amount of modification to make a badass BALANCED ride. swoon.

btw, ive been to this shop before. i went a few weeks ago. its a really nice shop, alot nicer than most. i did see a plethora of nissans there though... i even bought some Z32 brakes from one of the guys that works there.

DAYUM! That thing looks hot. Just plain hot. Anyone who says otherwise is Richard Simmons.

Its weird tho, seeing s15 headlamps on an s15. I kept expecting to see s13 rear tail lights. :p

Just kidding. That car looks great. I would drive the hell out of it; and then drive it some more.
