I have a very hard time making my mind up about certain things because I am always brainstorming and always second guessing how somthing will look...

Last night began the de-vinyl process for the s13.. All removable panels are off to include the wide body.. After I re-lay fiberglass and bondo certain areas I will be re-wraping it. I have thought about it for a while and I have come up from everything to black with takata green wheels, black top with orange bottom half with blue wheel, to black top with blue bottom with red wheels, to all pink with bronze wheels.....

Can I get some suggestions? I need to start vinyling in the next few days (will probably start this weekend) so I need to order the rolls ASAP.

Thanks

-Josh

I'm trying to bite my tongue. I don't really like any of those ideas. I would liek to see a nice gloss black car with hood and roof in a... dark grey Armani Suit Pin Strip Fabric... Or painted to look like a dk. grey pin stripe suit. Fucking ganster. Or Gloss tan with a dk. cherry pinstriped top. Base is dk. cherry and pinstripes are dk. grey....

C'mon, you have an opportunity to do something real cool, Go check out www.driftworks.co.uk if you wanna see black cars with wild coloured wheels. Been done. 2+ Years ago.

What is that supposed to mean?

It really is something you need to decide for yourself. It's your car. Do what you like. I just added another vinyl scheme along the lines of the ones you had already stated.

Takata Green wheels are pretty common out in these parts. It's be done before, thats no doubt.

Maybe go with colors in the same color family, unless you're going for shock value.

I'm more of a fan of clean & classy. I'm not much of an example though haha.

Forget Armani, its all about Buuuurberry in da headlinerrrrr!

depending on how you actually drive your car, you should get a vinyl on the side that says:

"COPS PULL ME OVER!"

cause you'd be asking for it...

In FL?

I say save up some money and have a bodyshop prep and paint that thing gloss black. Then you have the perfect canvas for any vinyl graphics you want to do.

Why he's redoing it:

What happened? looks like a giant spider is attacking his hatch.

I agree that he needs to redo it, imo that old sticker scheme looks very random... like a refridgerator with your kid's drawing on it...

I recently re-did my stickers on the drift car. I spent the time to lay it out in Photoshop to make sure the sizes and position adn color is what i wanted. Then i got them made... no suprises trying to put them on, that way...

Of course this is what i started with, but the end result is the exact same (except the color of the vinyl is of course slightly off... i got Dk. gunmetal chrome on a black drop shadow base, and its just about perfect to what i wanted).
