So i got me a yokomo drift r/c car and a micro rs4 that i turned into a drift car. Lots of fun but gets pretty boring playing by myself and not doing tandem battles. I was wondering if some bay area people want to meet up and play once a week. We can set up a track or go down to hobby world in GILROY to race at there carpeted indoor track. Or if you got other cars you want to bring out and run is also welcome.

cars i currently run:
-Yokomo mr4tc (drift spec)
-HPI micro RS4 drifter
-Tamiya F201
-Factory team tc3
-Nitro tc3

I got a HPI pro2 thats drift/grip. I have like 1.5k into it. All CF and aluminum and nirto car ball joints. Thing is indestructable except for the belts which I need to fix. I'd be down, but not that far away. Come closer to the north bay and well talk.

Im not sure of a place in oakland to get parts to fix it but in san jose there is Sheldons Hobbies, R/C unlimited, Hobby world.

Hobbytown usa fremont. Support a fellow s chassis owner. I sell all major rc brands. As for a drift battle contest, I'll see about setting something like that up for this upcoming race season. It only take three people to start another racing class. Hit me up for more info.

Hah, So I gather I might've met you before? Which car do you have? I'll check into it myself.

I race every class professionaly, but as for Victor, he isn't that fast, and after that guy stole my friends web page for his store, I have no love for the guy.

i was out of R/C for like 3 years now and after seeing this new brushless/lipo/drifting rc stuff its starting to bring me back in even though i have my real car to worry about. And plus too some guy called me up a month ago when he seen me racing a while back and wants me to test out some of his new brushless products. So i guess ill give it a shot but my real car still comes first.

Yeah, we race from about 7~ till 9pm (closing) But if there are enough people we'll keep the store open a little longer just for the racers. We use the CORE transponder system and a transponder is roughly $20. The ASC 18b is a nice choice. Only problem is since it's popular and we have a track it's hard to constantly keep parts instock. I'll be there friday. So I guess I'll see you then?

I have that same problem wanting to get out of rc. It worked for a few months. But then something new comes out...

would any of you guys be interested in drifting your RC cars at a night drift or two? we could set up a track somewhere and you guys could have battles or something.

^I might bring my car out if I can get my shit fixed. I'm lazy ad theres to many small parts. As long as its not all gravel and shit I would battle.
