I was wondering which any of you think would be a better choice to buy. This being a 240sx website i feel that there is going to be a slant to the 240, but what the hell. I have about $8k to spend right now and i was wondering if i should buy a 95+ 240sx with about 70k miles and put a the money i save into it, or buy a 300ZX TT with about 100k miles and have to wait a while so i can put some money into it and build up the engine. Either way I am going to put 5g into either car next year when i get some inheritance money. Which would be a better choice, build up a higher milage 300zx or a lower milage 240sx, which i would turbo or swap the KA.

Up to you but FYI there are more parts available for the SR <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>
Both are good cars but I know 300zx are a pain to work on.

Its such a pain to find a 240 though, all i see are 300zx's for sale, and all the 240sx's i see are either automatic or have a shitload of miles. 300zx's are all over the place. But if i was going to get a 240sx would you recommend a SR swap or build up the KA and turbo it?

Buy the 300zx, they're sweet cars.
Plus everyone, their wives, their babysitters and their children are talking about 240's and sr20 swaps... it's F*CKING ANNOYING!

Buy the 300zx. Isn't that what we all wanted anyway. You have lots more options. Buy a normally aspirated 300zx (222 hp) add some bolt ons, or drop in a tt motor down the line.

look for a 91-95 tt for under 10k...theyre around...with a z you won't have to do much to the engine intially...just work on that suspension and lightening that overweight thing up...they run 0-60 in like...5-5.5 seconds
which is damn fast

iirc - tt is 300hp from the factory and can handle 600hp without internals
