Im torn between the the RPS max series clutch with the 6puck or even street organic disc , or the Exedy Thick Cerametallic Clutch. Anybody here has ne opinions on these 2 or that have had used them? This would be used for DD, and some weekend track use.

suggestions...

Dorifto_slut apparently is making 350+ rwhp and is using the RPS Max street clutch with zero problems with them, and you know how much he drifts and tracks his car, and the car is still a daily driver.

So yeah, I'd say it's a good option.

Btw is it ideal to get a new throwout bearing and pilot bushing?

I know phase 2 sells them but for 415 thats with the throwout and pilot. But from the other stores i called(SPL and other places) I been told that the RPS clutch kit doesnt come with the throwout bearing and pilot bushing.

So is it ideal to replace the throwout and pilot along with the clutch?

Im assuming it is tho.

Yes buy new throw out bearing and pilot bushing. From nissan dealer should be $30-40 for both...something like that

not expensive

Did you mean that the pressure plate itself is heavy?

Or did you mean that the clutch pedal is a bit stiffer with the RPS Max pressure plate?

On second thoughts, I think I might go with the SPEC Stage 2+ with the aluminum pressure plate for less weight, but retain high clamp load. Plus the kevlar material should last awhile even for daily driving and some track driving, if the full faced organic material is working for Dorifto_slut.

Illegal garage. Tell max how much power you want to lay down and he'll make you the sticky icky.
