Alright, it's time for me to sell my S13 :-/ Now comes the question of how to get rid of it while losing the least amount of cash from it...

I've got an 89 hatchback, the interior is stripped and there body is pretty well fucked but the frame is straight...
96 S13 SR20DET blacktop (The engine is in truly great shape, it came out of an automatic. No oil coking or anything, really clean, which suprised me when I cracked it open for the first time)
New valve cover gaskets
GTI-R T28 Turbo
Brand new wiring harness
HKS SSQV
Hybrid GT Spec Intercooler
ACT Street/Strip Clutch
3" Catback
3" Test Pipe and a 3" Catco cat
3" Project Silvia Downpipe
Metal Rear Subframe Collars
Eibach Springs
KYB AGX Struts
Nismo ball shift knob (god I love this shift knob)
Fidanza Short Shifter
HKS Turbo Timer (not hooked up)
HKS S-AFR (not hooked up)

Do you guys think I would be better off parting out the car and selling the chassis as a roller? The title on the body is clean so I'm sure someone could 'use' it... or should I wait for someone to buy the whole thing. (I doubt anyone would want to, there is no power steering, ac, heat, interior other than dash and driver seat... body is COVERED in dents. Oh. The 5spd tranny is cracked from wheelhop.).
Thanks :hs:

This depends on your own situation...
If you can afford the time and effort to parting out, you will make the most money back that way, so do that. If you must have the money 5 minutes ago, then sell it to the highest bidder that way when one comes along.

I've got an offer from a friend with an E46 M3, he likes the 240 because it beats the M3 in a straight line and you really don't have to worry about it getting banged up. He's willing to throw me 3k any time for it, just don't know if I could get more by parting it out. I've got all the time I need, pretty much. Thanks for the ideas so far.

better to part out. even with the amount of mods you have invested in the car...people still expect the car to sell pretty much for the same amount you bought it for. unless some noob rice boy is stupid enough to pay the price you think the car is worth.

3k? There are people that sell OK condition ones in Cali for more.

If you have the time to part it out, you'll make alot more money back.

Do you know of anyone that has a used part price guide? It's raining here now (Rain in Arizona? :ugh: ) so I guess I'll start pulling it back apart tomorrow. :-/
Thanks.

my family back in AZ tells me that it's the first time it has rained in the last 4 months. At least it's warmer there than here, I don't even want to work on my car (which is in pieces) because the garage is too fuckin cold.

/offtopic
you should be able to get more than 3k, even if the body is a bit rough, but you will make more parting it out.

Haha, yeah. Last weekend we had rain and even snow in the mountains behind my house (McDowells).

Of course I had to go for a drive... and get stuck

Look around on Zilvia, in the FS section. People are pretty reasonable about used parts here.

Just wondering where you see more than 3000 in parts...
I'm looking at...
~150 for the SSQ
~200 for the harness
~50 for the 62 ECU
~1000 for the engine/turbo/maf
~100 for the IC core
~50 for the AFR
~25 for the TTimer
~50 for the downpipe
~50 for the cat
~800 max for the rolling chassis
The rest is pretty much junk (interior/dash is cracked)

I'm just not seeing where all this money is coming from...

x2. The engine is worth a little bit more than that.
