Alright i finally found an '89 240sx in my area (they're kinda hard to find in michigan) took it for a test drive today.. here's the catch .. lady's askin 2700.. its chassis has 186k, engine has 70k.. when i priced out 240's with those mileages average was 2200. I think i can talk it down to that.. but it also needs a new first gear synchro which is gonna cost $900. How much is a rebuilt tranny? or a used one? basicly i'm gonna take the car to my mechanic and have him see what i missed. right now i think i'd offer 1800 and maybe go up to 2200.. but no higher.. any input?
